SUNY Oneonta Audio Arts Interns Ethan, Em, and Michael

SUNY Oneonta Audio Arts Science Communication

Glenn is working with the Audio Arts department of SUNY Oneonta and professors Nathan Asman and Andris Balins to lead students through the process of sonifying data from the Biological Field Station into new electronic musical works.

As we face increasingly urgent challenges of climate change, this project is engaging young musicians in science communication. It is such a pleasure to work with so many students, faculty, and administrators who are ready to embrace a new project like this.

Ethan, Em, and Michael are the interns leading charge on gathering the stories of this project, running our social media presence, and most importantly, keeping me on schedule! Can’t wait to see the great work that emerges from this project in the coming months!
